We’re less than a week away from release, and now’s the part where I really have to buckle down on promotion aka the worst part. The text is all done, well in advance this time which feels quite weird, so now I need to figure out how to get people to read it.
I’ve got The Weary Traveler up on Booksprout right now, and there are 20 slots open for reviewers. If you’re a member of the site, you can get free Advanced Review Copies (ARCs) of books in return for leaving a review on the author’s chosen sites. I prefer reviewers to use Amazon or Goodreads but leave BookBub as an option too.
This is pretty crucial as far as promotion goes, or so it seems. People download the books with the understanding they are getting this for free so they need to leave an honest review. Sometimes they don’t get to the book during the two week period given, and sometimes they just do nothing and get their free book anyway, but when you will otherwise get zero reviews, it’s helpful to get two or three from sites like these.
If you’re interested in getting an early copy in exchange for an honest review, hop on over here, sign up, and get to reading!
