Oops, forgot to post yesterday! Summoned to the Wilds is coming along nicely. The edits are going slower than I’d like, but I’ve added a lot of words. I know not everyone likes long books, and mine are almost the equivalent to two average romance novels squashed together at 120k+ words, but I really like to see relationships develop on page. It might feel slow to some, and that’s okay, slow, frustrating burns aren’t for everybody and my pacing might be objectively off, but I want to show the reader changes happening in my characters that they can be sure will last because they got to experience the situations that affected them and saw them make bad choices, then okay choices, then good choices, ya know?
