How Not to Court Your Human Captive
FFD #1
Content Warnings

Hello, Dear Reader! Thank you so much for picking up my foray into monster romance. Above all, I want this story (and this whole series) to be a fun and comforting escape into a fantasy world steeped in romance; however, conflict plays a role in all stories, so here’s a quick heads-up for some of the things you will encounter on these pages.

The setting of this series is intended to be cozy, but the premise is objectively dark. While the setup for these tales is fairly standard for the genre, the concepts of abduction and sex slavery are not to be taken lightly and may cause distress in some readers. Please know that the slavers in this series are human, portrayed only as villains, and are not love interests. Their actions are never justified.

While the demons in this world do keep the human women captive in their city, this is done out of necessity rather than malicious intent; however, our female human leads do experience confinement on the page, which readers may also find upsetting. Some characters will make light of their current and past situations. Human trafficking is not a joke, but humor is human (and demon) nature, and is one of the ways we cope with trauma, so you will find these mechanisms on page.

Balancing coziness and romance with any sort of trauma is rife with pitfalls. Please note that while these characters address and often overcome their own mental wounds, this book is not an accurate representation of healing or appropriate therapeutic measures. While I, as the author, would like any reader experiencing pain to feel seen in my books, every person’s experience and healing journey is unique, and nothing on these pages should be considered universal. Similarly, this story should not be considered a guide on safe or ethical intimate practices. The characters will explicitly explore their sexuality on page, but please remember they are fictional, and their preferences and experiences are also not universal.

None of this is to scare you away, Dear Reader, but please do not hesitate to take a break or abandon this book at any time. Your happiness and health are of the utmost importance, and I genuinely care about your wellbeing above all else! Since I’m human myself, it’s possible I’ve overlooked some triggers or have been overzealous with the warnings here, but please be advised this story contains or alludes to the following:

  • Abandonment
  • Abduction/Kidnapping/Human Trafficking
  • Ableism
  • Anxiety/Anxiety Attacks
  • Body Horror/Disfigurement – on page
  • Body Shaming/Disfigurmisia
  • Branding
  • Bullying
  • Child Abuse – alluded to in a character’s past
  • Child Sexual Abuse – discussed in a character’s past, few details, does not occur on page
  • Imprisonment/Incarceration – discussed in a character’s past and on the page
  • Indentured Servitude – discussed in a character’s past
  • Judicial System – weaponization of system in a character’s past and on the page
  • Murder – discussed in a character’s past, flashbacks, detailed

How Not to Tame Your Human Tease
FFD #4
Content Warnings

Hello, Dear Reader! Thank you for picking up my second foray into monster romance. If you’ve read the others in this series, you’ll know it’s meant to be a fun and comforting escape into a fantasy world steeped in romance; however, conflict plays a role in all stories, so please take care of your wellbeing.

This is easily my spiciest and kinkiest story ever, which isn’t to say it’s the spiciest, kinkiest story you’ve ever read, but if you’re used to my other work, just be forewarned. This book introduces a fantasy version of what could be a considered a brat/dom relationship, which borrows from consensual non-consent (CNC) scenarios. There are also elements of primal play and impact play on the page.

Brioni is also the definition of a character who “breasts boobily,” but I’m not sorry about that because I think it’s hilarious and also she’s very cute, so there.

In addition, this story contains or alludes to the following:

  • Abandonment
  • Abduction/Kidnapping/Human Trafficking
  • Ableism – References to disability and ableist language including slurs (perpetuated by an antagonist)
  • Anxiety/Anxiety Attacks
  • Body Horror/Disfigurement – alluded to on page, cutting, medical horror, experimentation
  • Body Shaming/Disfigurmisia
  • Child Abuse – discussed in a character’s past
  • Murder – on page
  • Racism – in the form of discrimination against fictional beings, discussion of skin color is abundant on page
  • Self Loathing
  • Sexism and Misogyny – voiced by an antagonist including negative sex worker talk
  • Sexual Harassment/Coercion/Assault – briefly on page, not committed by the MMC or FMC
  • Sexual Content – consensual, explicit, including bondage, primal play, impact play
  • Slavery/Sex Trafficking – occurs in premise and ramifications discussed flippantly on page
  • Violence/Weapons/Bloodshed

How Not to Mesmerize Your Human Muse
FFD #6
Content Warnings

Hello once again and for the very last time in this series, Dear Reader! Thank you so much for joining us on this adventure, and if this is the first Falling for Demons book you’re picking up, welcome! How Not to Mesmerize Your Human Muse technically can be read as a standalone, but you’ll get so much more out of it if you read books one through five first.

This is my third foray into cozy monster romance, and while this series is meant to be a fun and comforting escape into a fantasy world, conflict plays a role in all stories, so please take care of your wellbeing and heed the following content warnings.

Kat and Azrion’s relationship is on the sweeter side. There are explicit scenes on the page, but they take intimacy slowly, largely due to a character’s lack of sexual experience. Please note that references to and concern around a character’s “first time” abound, but none of the depictions here should be considered a guide or a realistic representation of that human experience. However, you will not find the term “virginity” on these pages.

Also, anxiety, panic disorders, and neurodivergence are explored in this book. Again, the depiction of these things and the treatment for them on these pages should not be considered accurate or practical.

In addition, this story contains or alludes to the following:

  • Abduction/Kidnapping/Human Trafficking
  • Ableism
  • Anxiety/Panic Attacks
  • Body Hatred/Discomfort with Oneself
  • Body Horror/Disfigurement – alluded to on page including medical horror
  • Child Abuse – alluded to in a character’s past
  • Classism
  • Domestic Abuse – alluded to in a character’s past
  • Drug Use/“Sex Pollen” – the use of a naturally occurring relaxant that allows a character to indulge in a way they may otherwise would not
  • Facial Disfigurement
  • Hospitalization/Medical Procedures/Trauma
  • Murder – discussed flippantly in a character’s past
  • Racism – in the form of discrimination against fictional beings, discussion of skin color is abundant on page
  • Sexual Content – consensual, explicit
  • Slavery/Sex Trafficking – occurs in premise and ramifications discussed on page
