Today I pull out the drafts of Vacancy and do a huge overhaul. I’ve got hundreds of thousands of words, but they need to be more cleverly organized–isn’t that always the way?
There’s a huge replotting effort ahead of me, and I plan to do a mishmash of the Snowflake Method and Save The Cat that will hopefully only take me a few days, then maybe a couple days more to fill in the blanks. This is my biggest project yet, but I’ve completed three standalones, and what is a trilogy if not three standalones all about the same people, right?
I may have completely kabashed any hopes of doing NaNo this year, but it’s only mid October, so who knows!
