The thing about #1linewed is it makes me look very closely at a very small piece of writing. Sometimes I’m fine with just throwing up something that matches the theme, knowing I’ll be editing those words in the future, and sometimes they even stay like that in the final draft. But this was one of those times where I stared at the words for way too long, made some tweaks in the document itself, and went back and forth a number of times, and I’m still feeling…off about. Perhaps it’s because it’s taken out of context–a problem, for sure–but then I think things should stand on their own too, so I dunno.
It’s not really important now, though: editing for this won’t begin for a while.
Actually…no…editing will start in a little over a month. That’s wild!
